In the third quarter of 2024, the puzzle game category in Finland showed varied performance across the top five applications, according to Sensor Tower data.

June’s Journey: Hidden Objects from Wooga saw fluctuating weekly revenue, which peaked at approximately $4.9K by the end of September. Weekly downloads experienced a significant peak with 1.1K in the week of July 22, while active users increased to about 4.2K during the same period before stabilizing around 3.3K towards the end of the quarter.

Angry Birds 2, developed by Rovio Entertainment, maintained a steady weekly revenue, reaching around $3.9K at its highest point in late September. The game consistently attracted around 900 weekly downloads, and active users hovered around 12.8K, with minor fluctuations throughout the quarter.

Another title from Rovio, Angry Birds Friends, experienced a peak in weekly revenue of approximately $3K at the end of July. Downloads were relatively stable, averaging around 300 per week, while active users initially declined but then stabilized at about 1.2K.

Screw Jam from Rollic Games demonstrated a downward trend in weekly revenue, which started at $2.4K and ended at $1.1K. Downloads showed a similar pattern, with a high of 1.1K in mid-July, decreasing to about 800 by the end of September. However, the game saw an increase in active users toward the end of the quarter, reaching 3.6K.

Lastly, Manor Matters by Playrix saw a peak in weekly revenue of around $2.2K in early August. Downloads remained modest, averaging about 80 per week, while active users remained steady at around 1.5K throughout the quarter.
